Privacy policy

Your morning data stays on your device.

Effective date: August 16, 2026

Who operates Cursed Alarm

Cursed Alarm is developed and published by Polymad. Questions about this policy can be sent to contact@polymad.dev.

Information handled by the app

Cursed Alarm stores the alarm times, repeat days, alarm sequence, routine settings, and QR verification information that you create. This information is stored locally on your Android device.

Camera access

The app uses the camera only while you scan a QR code for setup or alarm dismissal. Polymad does not receive, store, or share camera images. The app does not add camera photos or videos to your gallery.

Notifications and alarm permissions

Cursed Alarm requests notification, exact-alarm, full-screen intent, foreground-service, wake-lock, vibration, and boot-completion capabilities so alarms can be scheduled and presented at the chosen time. These capabilities are used for the alarm function.

Data collection and sharing

The launch version has no user account, advertising SDK, analytics tracker, or Polymad-operated server. Polymad does not collect or sell personal data through the app.

Data retention and deletion

Your settings remain on the device until you change them, clear the app data, or uninstall the app. Because Polymad does not receive this data, Polymad cannot retrieve or delete it remotely.

Children

Cursed Alarm is not directed to children under 13, and Polymad does not knowingly collect personal information from children through the app.

Future changes

If advertising, analytics, accounts, cloud storage, or other data practices are added later, this policy and the Google Play Data safety declaration will be updated before those features are released.

Policy updates

Material changes will be published on this page with a new effective date.
